I have had a lovely weekend. It has been a little productive, and a lot relaxing. There are meals in the freezer, biscuits in the cupboard, tennis to watch and ideas in my notebook for upcoming picture book drafts.
Currently watching the Tomic v Federer match in the Australian Open. Always good to see a young player doing well, especially against a player of the calibre of Federer. Another week of wonderful tennis to go. Hopefully we will get to watch some quality matches during the next week; with not too much grunting and screeching from the players. My pet hate when watching tennis is the amount of noise some players make. It occasionally gets to the point where I turn the volume down because of how annoying it is.
We all know we should be eating more fruit and vegetables, but the thought of the additional preparation and cooking involved means we often don’t eat as much as we would like. We often find it easier to open a can of this or a packet of that; all containing food additives that can be detrimental to our health, and minus the many nutrients and the fibre we require for good health. The following link will give you some ideas for adding extra fruit and vegetables to your diet the easy way.
Back to work tomorrow. Short week ahead. Public Holiday for Australia Day on Thursday, then a day off on Friday. Have a great week everyone.
